而我,选择了大道与小路之间的深山脉搏;

果然天下不负有心人,在这里让我遇见了她;

牵着她的手,感觉到她也会紧紧地握着;
看着她的眼,感觉到她可爱中的淘气;
搂着她的腰,感觉到她轻轻飘着的头发;
玩弄她的发,感觉到她撒娇的一面;

我选择了她,爱上了一个恶魔般的天使;
我选择了她,爱上了一个我想全心服出的人;

29th Feb, Leap Year Bday Party

The day I've been patiently waiting for is finally here, A bright sunny day to start of with when I hop onto the bus to go back to Penang at about 10am. About 4+ hours of sleep later, I finally reach Penang and I just cant wait till the party begins at night.

After settling down I continue my wait while reading my text messages that has been sent to me when I was happily sleeping on the bus. I received nearly 30 birthday wishes, 1 birthday card from one of my good friends, 10+ msn wishes, a couple of facebook blessings and friendster wishes as well.

After a few more hours, it's finally time to prepare for the big night. Tables were put up for the steamboat dinner, chairs were placed, food was laid out and I was busy chasing flies trying to smash them into a pulp for disturbing my peace.

Night arrive, friends and family starts showing up on my doorstep wishing me a happy birthday and teasing me about my 6th birthday celebration.

The first 2 fellas that arrived was my 2 good friends namely Hock (in the middle) and Sam (right). They arrived an hour before the party started and we did had a great time chatting and catching up on gossips. While chattering about we found out that I'm the only one that is still single among the two of them.... crapz... A traveller like me can't have one.. long distance travels and I'll miss my darling horribly...

Guest started arriving so let the PARTY begin !!

Food started disappearing fast into the pot of soup, drinks are being served and lots of chattering are going around the house. I'm lucky to have invited my neighbour or the noise is going to bug them a bit... The dog of our neighbour joined in the loud chatter by barking it's head off...

Lets have some pictures do the talking for a bit.

The party lasted till 1am but by then there is only a number of 7 people left instead of the 40+ that came to the party. Did not really have much presents but I got a present of puzzle rings which is my favourite present for the whole night... As a puzzle lover that present gave me joy of dismantling and pieces and figuring how to put them back again. The other things I got was a wallet, a photo frame + notepad, 2 bottles of red wine, a Baskin-Robbins ice-cream cake, some perfume and a calender toy (those you can dismantle and put back like pieces of Lego)

The party finally ended with me as tired as you can imagine, bus ride > preparing > party > cleaning up (though much was done by my family members) > chatting till late > wine > being a gentleman sending a lady back home.... I finally got some peace and quiet till about 2am in the morning where some of my forgetful friends starts to send in sms's saying they forgot about my birthday and wishing me a happy belated one. At least they still manage to wish me a happy belated birthday cause there is no belated birthday next year or the next or the next year to come. Hehe... it's special to be born on a special day, having a memorable party and best of all.... Loving family and friends.

Final Day of CNY

The 15th day of CNY has arrived, no more ang pows after this day and yet a lot of people wanted this day to arrive. Young ladies, Handsome guys and busybodies would be found near rivers, oceans or lakes to toss in mandrin oranges. Its a tradition I guess for girls to be throwing in mandrin oranges with their names, hp numbers, msn, icq and whatever you can think off written/carved onto the orange.

Guys on the other hand would be picking them up and hopefully meet the girl of his dreams. My curiosity, would any girl toss the orange into a pirana filled river and hopes a guy jumps in? A chubby one might not attract any, what if miss universe toss in an orange... would anyone of you jump in?

Me on the other hand, spent the night sitting in front of my computer watching "Home Alone 1" It's a classic movie yet it brings back memories of the laughter we had talking about it with friends. We even have our own traps and tricks up our sleves. I remembered there was a game on Home Alone and somehow I cant find it anymore.... We are to collect toys, usable stuff and place it around the house to stop the burgler from catching us.

Well, it's time to get back to my work.. I'm going to watch Home Alone 2 New York tonight..

Valentines Day

14th of February, A day for couples to enjoy a romantic candlelight dinner, some soft music and the love that is in the air.. but for me.. i decided to do something totally out of my mind.. I went on a blind date, meeting someone I have never met before in my entire life..

Organized by TheStar, 5 guys and girls were chosen to be on the blind date on the 14th of Feb. Venue : Hotel Nikko, Time : 14th Feb 7:00pm. Things to bring : confidence, sense of humor, gift and most importantly your wits. A total of 70 participants took part in the "Table for Two" event and only 10 finalist was chosen.. Surprisingly....I'm one of them

The Day itself finally came and I went there with a blue short-sleave shirt, a black coat-jacket and black slacks. My gift was a hand made "Rose in a Bottle", but thanks to TheStar my gift sounds horrible.. a ribbon made rose with paper clip stems... the paper clips cannot be seen anywhere on the rose but nicely wrapped inside the ribbon itself...

Upon arriving at Hotel Nikko via LRT.. which was packed and i felt like a sardin trapped inside a can. I found myself walking into a 5-star hotel with nothing but my guts quivering with pure excitement... who will I be meeting.. I hope I get Josephine for my date, she's pretty, cute and close to my age too.. should have things to talk about... As I was wondering away, Darren - another participant showed up right behind me.. apparently he was on the same LRT I was on earlier.. Well.. we both walked into the dining area and sat down.. chatting a bit to calm our nerves down.

*Wooot.. a pretty girl showed up right after Darren and I sat down. The name - Esther. Dressed in Blue and Black, she caught my attention of this is how a girl should dress up for a date. To my delight, she sat down right in front of me and we started talking. "Hmm.. she's not too bad either.. it would be cool if she's my date too... ", man was I wrong.. we might have things in common but getting to know her made me realised she's a pure christian devotee... which.. is the opposite of me as I'm a free-thinker. Well, she got paired up with Vickey in the end..

After all the top 10 finalist arrived, we had a speed dating session... 5 minutes with each girl and move on.. ( bloody hell.. what can u say in 5 minutes? Hi, my name is bla bla bla.. nice to meet you... how do you do.. what made you come here.. *ding ding ding. times up ) and that is only questions from 1 person.. Anyway.. that was horrible.. moving on.. I was paired up with Sue.

Friendly girl, talkative.. great to be a friend but not a lover.. for me that is.. we are nearly 4 years apart in age and she's just like a kid to me still.. ( Sorry Sue ) Most of the night I was just sharing my experience about my travels and mostly my stuff.. I din't really get to know her well.. a brief introduction and a bit of chat here and there.....

Lets put the date aside.. we had.. dinner... buffet SUSHI SYTLE !! sadly.. I don't eat sushi.. it makes me sick.. so I packed on the chocolate appertisers, fruits and salads instead.... Next came the main dish, Fried Salmon - Salmon wasn't too fresh, over fried it a little bit but other then that.. it was nicely placed and the sauce was just nice. Then came the deserts, chocolate fountain dip of fruits, marshmellows and a helping of cakes. The picture is Josephine ( yes, the girl I was hoping to be paired up with ) and Jason at the chocolate fountain dipping into it.

After dinner I manage to get all their msn emails, sadly not all phone numbers though.... We posed for some pictures, post-dating interview, experience sharing and lots of chit chat.. Time flies and it was nearly 12 when I rushed to the LRT to head back to Paramount Garden. Last few pictures we took was a group photo of the Top 10 Finalist !!!! Envy this everyone.. Final detail that is gonna be posted.. the link to where all this can be found...
